Quickly Delete All Effects From Layers in After Effects

In this post, you will learn how to quickly delete all of the effects from all of your selected layers in After Effects.

First Option

We can quickly select all the desired layers.

Then we can temporarily turn off all effects by clicking on the effects icon.

Temporarily turn off effects in After Effects

As you can see, all the effects are gone.

However, that does not really solve the problem because your layers still have all of those applied effects.

Best Option

So I am going to turn them back on but to completely wipe my layers clean from all of the effects, all you have to do is just use a simple keyboard shortcut.

Simply press CTRL+SHIFT+E on a PC or CMD+SHIFT+E on a Mac.

It is easy to remember this keyboard shortcut because Effects start with E. I hope you found this tip useful!
