Awesome. I had done this effect manually using expressions and track mattes for years and never realized how much time I was wasting until I tried SmartREKT. If you are using this commercially, it will very likely pay for itself the first time you use it. Not the first project, but literally the first time you use it. It is that much of a time-saver (and is also really cheap).

The implementation is slick, generating the effect using AE-native shape layer and expressions– I’ve had zero compatibility issues. The interface is intuitive. Everything under the hood is clearly marked. If you run into problems the support is outstanding. I submitted a request at 5:30pm on a Friday and received a PHONE CALL twenty minutes later. It was totally above and beyond. These folks support their work 110%.

I, like many other AfterEffects users, can be considered to have a bit of a problem when it comes to getting plugins and scripts. Too often I get a new script, thinking (or hoping) that it would transform my process and open up tons of time to spend on the fun aspects of the job…and instead, they sit there barely used until eventually, I forget they even exist, neve having had any impact in the work I do.

Can i give 10 stars? This is a REAL timesaver. This is a MUST HAVE. Even you’re working on a small project or on a bigger one this plugin save your time, REALLY.
